YALE GRAD 2008

  • ATTENTION GRADS:  Ceremony rehearsal is tomorrow (Wednesday) at Seven Oaks Alliance church at 3:30 and attendance is MANDATORY.  This is when you will also be picking up your cap and gown so do not forget.  See Miss Ross in B130 if you have any questions.
  • ATTENTION GRADS:  Anyone who still needs a seat at prom please see Mr. Wiebe in E110 today.  Remember that you must pay for prom if you want to keep your spot.

  • All Grads that are NOT using all their grad invitations please return the extras to Mr. Caron in B200 for those students that need extras.

 

Grad Checklist

September…

  • Read through the Grad Handbook.
  • Tell your parents about Grad Parent Meetings!
  • Get your Yearbook message forms filled out.
  • Get your Grad Baby Ad Form to your parents.
  • Get your Grad Council Nomination Forms.
  • Check your Graduation Status with your counsellor.
  • Fill out the Grad Activities Form (page 3) and return it to the main office.

October…

  • Sign up for photos in advance! Grad photos are November 5th – 9th.
  • Grad Baby Ads for the Yearbook due Oct 15th.

November…

  • Buy your Grad Rings.
  • Grad Parent Meeting November 15th at 7:00 PM in the library.
  • Grad Photo Retakes at the end of November.
  • Return the Grad Activities Form (page 3) if you haven’t yet.
  • Fill in the Transcript Verification Form for the counsellors (assembly)

December…

January…

  • Provincial Exams

February…

  • Pay your 1st instalment of FEES:  February 6, 2008.
  • Grad Parent Meeting February 26th at 7:00 PM in the library.

March...

  • Buy your Grad Rings.

April…

  • Pay your 2nd instalment of FEES: April 9, 2008.
  • Get your Valedictorian Application/Nomination Form
  • Tell the “List Holder” (page 2)  of any changes to your Grad Activities
  • Form choices ASAP!
  • Submit your prom guest application for prom before May 1st.

May…

  • Pick up your Ceremony Invitations May 6,7,8th. Extras May 9th. (page 6)
  • Pick up your Prom Dinner & Dance Tickets and choose your tables. (page 8)
  • Attend the Grad Ceremony Rehearsal. Wednesday, May 21st 3:30PM.
  • Participate in the Grad Ceremony May 23rd (Students there at 7:00PM)
  • Attend the Grad Tea May 23rd after the Ceremonies.
  • Attend Dry Grad May 23rd after the Grad Tea.
  • Attend the Grad Breakfast May 24th after the Dry Grad.

June…

  • Participate in mandatory Grande Marche rehearsal (Wed or Thurs before prom)
  • Participate in the Grande Marche June 14th 4:00PM. (Pictures at 2:00PM)
  • Attend the Prom Dinner and Dance June 14th. (Be at the bus by 4:45PM)
