Out of catchment students wanting to register at Yale for grades 10-12 starting September, 2010 will be placed on a waiting list. You may submit a registration form, but will have to wait until after June 15 to know if space is available. Although we have space for incoming grade 9 students, the district is requiring that we also wait until June 15 for final confirmation. It is recommended that you register at your catchment school to ensure you have a backup plan in place. We appreciate your patience as we move through the planning process for September. Please, do not hesitate to call the school if you have questions.
New Grade 9 Students
Although we have space for incoming grade 9 students, the district is requiring that we also wait until June 15 for final confirmation. Please, fill out a registration form and drop it by the school. All applicants will be placed in date order and will have a chance to course plan on April 8, 5:00 pm at the school. You will be contacted after June 15, 2010 with the final confirmation of your placement for September.

Registration
Yale will be accepting new registration packages for the 2010/2011 school year beginning February 1, 2010. An application form along with a cover letter can be picked up at the main office during the week from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. All registrations received by June 15, 2010 will be placed in date order with priority given as follows:
1. Students living within the Yale boundaries;
2. Students living in Abbotsford but outside the Yale boundaries;
3. Students living outside of the Abbotsford School District boundaries.
All registrations received by June 15 will be given priority over those received after that date.
***No incomplete applications will be accepted***
Course Planning
For all students NEW TO YALE (not including Grade 8s from WA Fraser Middle School) there will be a course planning session in the New Theatre on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 5:00 pm followed by an open house at 6:00 pm that will include ALL new students AND the grade 8s from WA Fraser.
