    The senior girls rugby team is selling pizza in the front foyer today at lunch.

    ALL library books are now due!  Check the overdue list posted on the Yale website and make sure you are not on it.  Any lost or damaged books must be paid for.  Students who don't settle accounts will not get their yearbooks.

Grade 12’s, the ABBOTSFORD COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AWARDS are here! These are the awards that are given out at Yale’s grad ceremony in May.

Check out the awards list because there are awards that appeal to a range of students – not just academics.  The online application form becomes active Friday, Feb. 8th. More information is available on Yale’s website and in the Counselling Centre. Have questions? See your counsellor. 

NOTE: To receive one, you need to APPLY. The deadline is 3pm Friday, March 8.

Track and Field Begins!

Track and field season is underway.   From now until spring break, practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 3:30.     All athletes should have proper gym strip, with good runners, and rain gear.   Meet in the cafeteria.  
 
After spring break, pracitices will be Monday through Thursday from 2:45 to 4:00. 

Yale January 2013 Exam Schedule!

Monday, Jan. 28 - Friday, Feb. 1 is exam week.  Please make sure you know when and where each of your exams are being held.  Get lots of sleep, eat breakfast, and study for your exams.  This is an important week: end the semester on a positive note.

Link Crew Study Sessions for Grade 9s

Link Crew will be holding study sessions for all grade 9 students to help them prepare for their first highschool exams!!

The sessions will be Jan 21 - 24 from 2:30- 4:00 in the cafeteria... WITH snacks!

Attention Grads and their Families!

Thanks to all of the Grad families that have talked with your Grads and encouraged them to hand in their Graduation Transition 12 Booklets (Blue cover) to Mr. Radons in the Career Centre.  The Graduation Transitions 12 course must be completed to be eligible for June Graduation in the Province of British Columbia.  Please remind your Grad that the due date for their logbook is Thursday, January 17th.  The Graduation Transition Interviews will begin in the second semester.
