YALE P.A.C. EXEC Thank you to everyone who came out to the meeting. We would love to see more new faces at our next meeting. If you are interested in finding out more about what goes on at Yale and throughout the district, please attend. You should also know that we don't do fundraising. If that is what has kept you away in the past, please know that we receive our funds through Bingo and Direct Access Grants. Last year we had approximately $100,000 to spend. We will have a similar amount to spend this year, so if you would like a say in what this money is spent on, you need to attend our meetings. Key Communicators, who represent each school's Parent Advisory Council, meet with the Superintendent several times during the school year. The purpose of these meetings is to provide information of interest to parents. Key Communicators then disseminate the information to their respective PAC's.
ABBOTSFORD DISTRICT PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL The Abbotsford District PAC is a parent organization with representation from all PACs in District #34. Our purpose is “to support, encourage and improve the quality of education and well-being of children in our school.” Our District PAC provides parents with information and advises our educational partners of parent concerns. We encourage and provide parent representation on District committees. We offer training and advice to school PACs.
