TOKWD! Parents of Grade 9's. Please put this in your calendar!

Yale Secondary is once again participating in Take Our Kids To Work Day (12 year running). TOKWD is a nationwide initiative, (click here... TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK DAY ), that encourages our grade 9s to spend the day in a workplace out in the community with whom they have made arrangements. All grade 9's are expected to attend a parent's, relative's, or neighbour's workplace on this day. If this is not possible, the students are expected to research a particular career that interests them, at home. Grade 9 classes at Yale Secondary will NOT be in session on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Please have your child return their completed permission form (attached) to their Bk. A teacher no later than Friday, Oct. 28th. I have also included an info sheet on the District wide TOKWD Contest.
