Grade 11 Career Field Trip Success!

On Monday, Nov. 30th, Yale Secondary, along with all the Abbotsford Secondary schools sent their entire Grade 11 cohort of 336 students to the Education Career Fair at Tradex. This is the 8th consecutive year that Yale Secondary's grade 11's have participated in the event and have been exposed to a variety of career possibilities both common and uncommon.

This year's fair included a total of more than 140 different exhibitors from Canada, the U.S. and Europe. The fair includes six areas, for associations, employers, career-training institutions, universities, trades, colleges, employers and Think!nternational.

Exhibitors from a variety of industries, including trades, tourism, arts and technology, esthetics, automotive, forestry, oil and health care, will be on hand. The event also features a range of 30-minute seminars."
