Dear Parents/Guardians:

RE: Yale Secondary School Open House – March 29, 2017 - 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

This event will be an opportunity for you and your child to familiarize yourselves with some of the teachers, courses, programs and extra-curricular activities offered at Yale Secondary.

The evening will open with a short welcome in the gym. You and your child will then rotate through your choice of five presentations (10 minutes each) including the sciences, musical theater, languages, PE/athletics and more. A comprehensive list will be distributed on the evening of the 29th to enable you to make your selection of presentations.

The evening will also provide an opportunity to purchase some fabulous Yale wear, meet members of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), and sign up to volunteer at Yale Secondary for the 2017-2018 school year.

We anticipate that during this evening, you and your child will learn enough about what is offered at Yale to enable you to make appropriate course choices for next year, as well as decide what extra-curricular activities your child may want to be involved in.

On March 29th and March 30th, during school hours, your child will also be attending a course planning information session which will include a tour of Yale Secondary. The evening Open House session provides an excellent opportunity to visit Yale one further time before course selections for the 2017/2018 school year.
