Welcome Back!

Sunshine and lots of it! The summer of 2015 may be remembered as the hottest, driest summer we’ve ever had, breaking all the records and considered a ‘drought’. What a contrast, when so much of the time we live in a rainforest where our experience is ‘liquid sunshine’, where plants are typically lush, green and growing.

While there has been a drought over the summer, we want our students’ educational experience to be rich with opportunities for ongoing growth and development in classrooms all across the district. The Abbotsford School District is prepared and ready to meet each student this year with the delivery of education in rich and inspiring ways. Our goal is that students will continue to grow as they develop new skills, build upon their information reservoirs, acquire new information, make new friends, and meet new teachers, principals and staff.

Welcome back everyone! May this new school year be a wonderful time of growth and development for all – our students, parents and staff!
