Yale Lions Have Eyes on the Provincial Prize

The Yale Lions are roaring into the 4A BC Boys High School Basketball Championships next week as the No. 2 seed in the province.

Not bad for a team that was only ranked fifth heading into the Fraser Valley Championships.

Despite the disadvantage of playing on the road in the Fraser Valley playoffs, the Lions had an impressive run to the title match, where they defeated Surrey’s Lord Tweedsmuir 88-78 to take the Valley championship.
